Roadside Assistance & Local Recovery

If you breakdown or have an accident away from home in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland we will come out to you and try to get your vehicle fixed roadside.

National Recovery Home or Onward Journey

If your vehicle cannot be made safe to drive by the road away from home the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland and you cant get it repaired the same day at a suitable local garage, you will be offered one of these, or other more suitable solutions:

• For the vehicle, driver, and up to 6 passengers to be taken to the place you were originally travelling to, or to your home address; or
• One night Bed & Breakfast Expenses; or
• Hiring a suitable vehicle for up to 24 hours.

Accident Recovery

You are equally covered if you have an accident or a breakdown. If need be we will work in conjunction with your insurance company.

Home Start

If your vehicle breaks down at home, or within a one kilometre radius of your home in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland, we will arrange and pay for a Road Rescue operator to come to the place of the breakdown for up to one hour to try and get it roadworthy.

 

**Breakdown Cover in the United Kingdom

We will cover you for roadside assistance, recovery and vehicle repatriation to Ireland in the United Kingdom (including Isle of Man and the Channel Islands). Cover is for a maximum of 31 days in any one trip to a cumulative duration of 90 days.

*Breakdown Cover in Europe

We will cover you for roadside assistance, recovery and vehicle repatriation to Ireland in most European Countries (as below). Cover is for a maximum of 31 days in any one trip to a cumulative duration of 90 days.
